    Q: T-Ball
    My daughter will be 5 years old in April. Will she be eligible to play t-ball this year?



    A: AGSA is not offering t-ball this year. Please check with the City of Aurora. The minnimum age for fastpitch is 6, the child must be 6 by December 31st.

    Why on top of your registration fee do you ask the members of your league to participate in a fundraiser?

    A: AGSA offers a very competitive registration fee. Full participation in the fundraiser allows AGSA to effectively run the league and keep our registration fees low.

    Q: Is AGSA a recreational league or competitive league?
    Is AGSA a recreational league or a competitive league?

    A: AGSA's level of play is considered upper recreational or semi-competitive fast pitch. All AGSA teams are sanctioned by the Colorado Amateur Softball Association (CASA) who classifies our teams under "Class C". Class C teams are not traveling teams and usually do not participate in outside individual tournaments.

    A: Registration cost for girls is $130.00.

    Q: What do I get for the registration cost?
    What does the cost of registration include?

    A: The cost of registration includes uniform tops, shorts, visors and socks. Players fees paid to the City of Aurora and CASA are also covered in this fee. The fee also covers umpires and operating expenses such as; telephone, registration, etc...

    Girls will receive trophies or medals for 1st and 2nd place in the year end tournament.

    You will need to provide your own glove.

    Q: What division should I choose for my daughter?
    My daughter will be 13 in January. Which division can she play in?

    A: Registration is based on your child's age as of December 31st. She may either play in the 12 & Under division or the 14 & under division based on her experience.

    Q: Practice information
    When will practices be held?

    A: Practices will start mid-May. You will be contacted by your coach regarding the day and time. Generally, practices will occur during the week, but some coaches do attempt to practice on a Saturday or Sunday.

    Q: Game information
    When will games be played?

    A: Games will be played beginning May 27th and continuing through mid July. Games are scheduled for Monday thru Thursday. Occasionally, there may be a make-up game on a Friday or the weekend due to bad weather.

    The tournament will start the week after the regular season ends.

    Q: Game scheduling question
    I have a question about the game schedule. Who should I contact?

    A: We are in the process of registering children right now. The game schedule should be out in mid to late May. You should first contact your child's coach. If you need further assistance you may contact Bob Bushman at vicepresident@agsacolorado.com.

    Q: End of the year tournament
    Will there be an end of the year tournament?

    A: We hope to have a year end tournament this year; however, the number of rainouts (and make-up games) may affect the opportunity to have a tournament. We will do our best to have a tournament as it is great fun for the girls and the entire family.

    A: A skills clinic is still being worked on, if we are able to have one we will update the website calendar.
